Best Wedding Venues of Oxford, MS

Oxford, Mississippi in the last 5-7 years has become a top destination wedding location. Many people who attended the University of Mississippi loved their time while here. They made a lot of their close friends while here. They may have even met the love of their life while attending Ole Miss. So it’s become a great place to come back and to celebrate with those they hold dearest. The town of plentiful options for lodging and the restaurant and nightlife scene is consistently rated top tier in the US.
So with out further ado…my recommendations for venues in Oxford, Mississippi.

The Mill at Plein Air | Taylor, MS

The Mill is a fantastic places for your wedding celebrations. Their newly built Chapel is beyond gorgeous. Using reclaimed wood and material sourced from all around the US, they really put a lot of thought into making a gorgeous location for your ceremony. The Mill is fantastic as it has tons of room, and a variety of options when laying out the space for your reception or dinner. Grit, the in house caterer, makes some of the best food I’ve ever had. There are also several rental houses available so you can provide lodging for your entire wedding party. Oh and don’t forget Flying Tuk provides a unique shuttle service option, they are able to ferry your guests from their homes or parking lots straight to the front door.

The Lyric Theater | Oxford, MS

The Lyric has long been a staple of the Oxford wedding scene. The location is perfection. Located right on the Oxford square, all your guests can walk from many of the local churches or to their respective hotels (or book a Flying Tuk for guests.) They’re also the perfect location for a kick-ass wedding band, with state of the art lighting and sound systems.

The Jefferson | Oxford, MS

A new addition to the Oxford Wedding scene and a goodie it is! Located just a few miles down Hwy 7, the Jefferson offers several different options depending on number of guests you may have or your budget. They have different rooms to choose from, and you can use the venue for your ceremony, reception, or both! Oh and they were just voted the Best Wedding Venue in Oxford 2018.
